Telefónica Tech digitises the Reviver plant of GAM

At Telefónica Tech we have developed a comprehensive project to digitize GAM's machinery remanufacturing plant in Villacé (Spain). This will enable GAM to optimize its processes to recover industrial equipment and machinery, thus extending their useful life and contributing to sustainability and the circular economy.

Through our company Geprom, part of Telefónica Tech, we have implemented warehouse management systems (WMS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) for GAM's Reviver plant, along with communications solutions, Cyber Security, and a hybrid cloud architecture.

The integration of these MES and WMS systems with GAM's ERP software will provide our client with complete traceability of the machines and industrial components entering their plant to be dismantled and remanufactured to give them a second life.

The warehouse management system automates and synchronizes all warehouse operations in real time, facilitating operators' work. We have also developed an interface for plant workers to use the new systems and enabled devices to guide them in the digitization of operations, with access to productivity indicators and other relevant information.

This implementation will improve the Reviver plant's efficiency and competitiveness, providing real-time registration of all factory elements and complete traceability of the production process.
