Organizations of an industrial nature have, until relatively recently, been keeping their operational environments isolated or connected in a limited way to the Internet and other external networks.

In this context, physical protection of the environments constituted the main security strategy and appeared to be effective to some extent. However, the competitive environment faced by organizations makes it unfeasible to continue working in this way.

The need to provide remote access or to centralize information from production processes has led to connect these environments, in many occasions, in an uncontrolled way.

Our service

The service allows to evaluate the cyber security level of OT environments taking as main reference the ISA/IEC 62443 standard. This assessment is performed by combining the analysis of information and documentation provided by the organization with a technical assessment based on the analysis of network traffic captured in these environments.

A regulatory compliance assessment can additionally be provided regarding the aforementioned ISA/IEC 62443 or others that apply to the sector in question (e.g. NERC for the energy sector, LPIC in critical infrastructures). Ethical hacking activities are also included to assess the security level of infrastructures.
