Why was 2022 a great year for Telefónica Tech?

At Telefónica Tech we believe that technology can help us achieve great things. 2022 was a great year for us. We significantly increased our footprint thanks to strategic acquisitions, accompanied by an outstanding organic performance, generating €1.5 billion.

The Telefónica Tech family, with more than 6,000 professionals of over 60 nationalities, was joined by Incremental in March 2022, an important Microsoft Dynamics partner, complementing the acquisition of Telefónica Tech UK&I in August 2021 (formerly CANCOM UK&I). We also acquired BE-terna in June 2022, which is present in three regions (DACH, Nordics and Adriatic region).

All in all, we are a key growth driver within the Telefónica Group, being a catalyst for the B2B segment and reaching more than 5.5 million customers. We have moved our credentials to the next level. Industry analysts acknowledge our leadership in the multiple digital practices we offer to the market. Our clients also recognise us as a leader in digital transformation and as a company that enables them to meet their ESG objectives.

At Telefónica Tech we have a wide range of services and integrated technology solutions in Cyber Security, Cloud, IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. We also have a specialised Digital Operations Centre (DOC) in Spain –in addition to a new DOC in Colombia– which reinforces our global network of 11 SOCs to monitor, protect and address security incidents in the digital world. In addition, we continue to strengthen our partnership with our strategic technology partners and develop innovative and unique collaboration models.
