We have consolidated our position as one of the global leaders in IoT connectivity, according to Transforma Insights’ 2025 report. This recognition highlights the strength of our capabilities through Telefónica Tech, including the Kite platform and a wide range of advanced digital transformation solutions.

The report recognises our robust infrastructure, our strong vertical focus, and the integration of advanced AI-powered features. Our Kite platform enables data visualisation and analysis, anomaly detection in connected devices, and seamless integration with large-scale cloud platforms. It also supports SIM card management, open API interfaces, and includes tools such as Asset Control to digitalise and remotely manage physical assets in the field.

We also provide Big Data capabilities that combine network data, IoT sensor information and external sources, helping clients make better business decisions based on actionable insights.

We are currently the IoT market leader in Spain, with over 12 million active lines and year-on-year growth of 163%. This growth is driven by use cases related to mobility, healthcare, and the digitalisation of infrastructures in sectors such as water, gas and industry.

Over 70% of the connected V-16 beacons certified by the Spanish traffic authority already use our IoT connectivity.
