Businessman working with electronic devices at the desk

We are announcing the launch of a new eSIM solution based on the GSMA SGP.32 standard, developed in collaboration with Thales, as we continue to evolve our IoT connectivity portfolio to make it easier for businesses to manage connected IoT devices across multiple countries. This new solution enables businesses to use a single SIM with multiple operator profiles, providing greater flexibility for international deployments.

The solution integrates natively with our managed IoT connectivity platform, Kite, allowing customers to centrally select the active operator for each location, manage their subscriptions through a single environment and gain a complete view of their connectivity. In addition, the platform enables the integration of operators from both the Telefónica Group and third parties, consolidating connectivity information into a single environment and supporting large-scale operations.

With this new solution, we are consolidating our role as an IoT connectivity orchestrator, enabling operator profiles to be downloaded quickly and without prior integrations between operators, thanks to Thales' technology. This helps reduce operational times, remove technical barriers and simplify the management of international projects, without the need for additional technical resources.

With this new capability, we continue to evolve our connectivity portfolio to meet the challenges of an increasingly demanding IoT market. In addition, we are helping to drive a more interoperable, agile and innovative IoT ecosystem, ready for multi-operator environments and global deployments.
