We have joined NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), integrating six of our innovation centres in Spain into this international network. This strategic collaboration positions us as the only Spanish private-sector participant in the initiative, alongside INTA’s El Pardo campus.
Through this alliance, we are contributing our expertise and capabilities in next-generation networks, quantum technologies, the Internet of Things and cybersecurity to DIANA. Among the centres included are The ThinX, our lab for IoT, AI & Data, Cybersecurity and Cloud; TEFQCI, our experimental quantum communications network, which is driving the development of Quantum-Safe solutions and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD); and our specialised Industry 4.0 cybersecurity centre, C4IN, located in León.
The initiative also includes our innovation hub in Málaga, where more than 60 professionals are developing advanced technology solutions, and the Technology and Innovation Centres in Alcobendas and Tovar, in Madrid, where we replicate real-world environments to validate new services.
This collaboration fosters knowledge sharing with more than 150 companies in the DIANA network, enabling the validation of technologies, use cases and defence-related solutions. At Telefónica Tech, we continue to drive technological innovation with an open, secure and collaborative approach.
