We launched NextDefense in the UK and Ireland to drive secure digital transformation

Our colleagues at Telefónica Tech UK&I are launching NextDefense today, our portfolio of Managed Security Services (MSS), to promote secure digital transformation of our clients.

We offer this service through the global network of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) of Telefónica Tech, which covers the UK, Europe, and the Americas, including an SOC in Belfast. Over 6,300 professionals and over 4,000 third-party certifications enable us to provide advanced security. Our approach is also deeply aligned with the framework established by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) to mitigate the cybersecurity risks that companies and organizations face.

In NextDefense, we apply techniques such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Orchestration, Automation, and Security Response (SOAR), and other advanced capabilities to proactively protect our clients, adapting to changing needs and emerging threats.

With a focus on continuous monitoring, rapid threat detection, and effective incident response, NextDefense offers a comprehensive security strategy to protect critical assets, including data, cloud environments, endpoints, and network infrastructure. It also includes offensive solutions such as Penetration Testing and Red Teaming, as well as defensive solutions like SIEM, MDR, XDR, and DFIR capabilities.
