Rafael Arturo González Barboza, our new country manager in Mexico

Telefónica Tech has appointed Rafael Arturo González Barboza as its new country manager in Mexico to strengthen this unit and continue to be a technological partner to Mexican businesses.

González Barboza has more than 25 years' experience in the telecommunications and information technology sector. He has worked at Telefónica Movistar Mexico for ten years.

In his new position, he will be in charge of implementing and directing Telefónica Tech's strategy in Mexico. This includes managing operations, developing the business, and coordinating our team in the country.

In Mexico, we have a Security Operations Center (SOC), where a team of specialists protects our customers 24 hours a day. This SOC works in coordination with other SOCs in different regions and with our DOC (Digital Operations Center), based in Madrid and Bogotá, to expand capabilities and provide comprehensive service to our customers worldwide.

At Telefónica Tech we offer Mexican companies solutions and services in Cyber Security, including our NextDefense service, Cloud, IoT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence to accompany them in their digital transformation processes.
