Yesterday we celebrated alongside Gradiant the fifth anniversary of TEGRA Cybersecurity Center, an initiative that has established itself as a reference center for Cyber Security innovation in Galicia and a successful example of public-private collaboration.
Since its creation in 2018, the center has focused on the development of Cyber Security technologies. This includes aspects such as information protection, digital fraud defense, and cyberintelligence generation. It has also developed products and services to strengthen information security in Galician companies through advanced cryptographic techniques.
The center has also focused on designing mechanisms to verify identity in information access. It has also designed data analysis tools, document classification systems and irregular information access detection.
A total joint investment of 3.85 million euros has been made, of which 1.1 million euros correspond to the investment contributed by the Galician Agency of Innovation (GAIN).
During the anniversary event, which included INCIBE, Gain, Amtega, the University of Vigo, and Ecix Group, reflections were made on the importance of Cyber Security. Reflections were also made on the creation of a solid ecosystem in this essential field in an increasingly digital society and economy. Additionally, upcoming trends in cybersecurity products and services were discussed with Telefónica Tech's strategic vision.
