We support Ecoembes in achieving ISO 27001 certification

At Telefónica Tech, we have supported Ecoembes throughout the adaptation process to achieve ISO 27001 certification, the most rigorous international information security standard. Through our company Govertis, we carried out maturity assessments, in-depth audits and implemented corrective procedures to ensure robust protection of their data, services and systems.

As a result of this joint effort, Ecoembes has become the only SCRAP (Collective System of Extended Producer Responsibility) in Europe to hold this certification, providing an additional guarantee to the 24,000 customers that trust it to manage their packaging.

ISO 27001 defines an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on 93 controls designed to prevent unauthorised access, data loss and cybersecurity incidents, while ensuring compliance with European regulations.
