Telefónica Tech and IBM promote AI, Analytics and Data Management Solutions

At Telefónica Tech, we are excited to announce that we have signed a new Collaboration Agreement with IBM to foster the development of artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and data management solutions. With this agreement, we aim to help businesses navigate technological complexity in an ever-changing environment and maximize the value of these technologies in their business processes.

Within this collaboration framework, the two companies will work together to deploy SHARK.X, an open, hybrid, multi-cloud platform specializing in analytics and data management. Additionally, we will establish a use case office to develop client pilots and demonstrate the value of these technologies in accelerating business growth. The agreement also includes training and education initiatives to develop and scale digital transformation projects in companies and public administrations.

The collaboration is already delivering generative AI solutions to clients, such as code production for IT applications, process and incident automation, and customer service through cognitive assistants. The SHARK.X platform will be implemented at LaCabina, Telefónica's technology center. It will feature advanced IBM technologies like IBM Cloud Pak for Data and IBM watsonx AI and Data.

This agreement strengthens the collaboration between Telefónica Tech and IBM and represents a significant step in the digital transformation of businesses, providing advanced solutions to tackle current and future challenges.
