At Telefónica Tech we are strengthening our role in the digital transformation of the industrial environment following Telefónica España’s incorporation into the Siemens Xcelerator IoT and 5G partner ecosystem, an open platform for industrial innovation.
Telefónica España’s secure, high-performance 5G networks are designed to integrate seamlessly with Siemens technology and enable converged IT/OT environments, allowing efficient connectivity for people, machines, industrial equipment and autonomous vehicles.
In this context, through Geprom, part of Telefónica Tech, we act as the industrial integrator for the 5G and IoT solutions incorporated into Siemens Xcelerator. Our role is key in enabling IT/OT convergence by securely and efficiently integrating 5G networks with industrial and logistics systems.
These deployments make it possible to connect industrial equipment, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and operational processes, and are designed to scale progressively as business needs evolve.
