Industry Leaders 2025: data as a lever for industrial transformation

The second edition of our annual Industry Leaders event was held on 12 November. The event is designed to facilitate dialogue between industry leaders and is organised by Geprom, part of Telefónica Tech, in collaboration with Telefónica Empresas. The conference focused on the strategic value of data as a driver of operational transformation in the sector.

The main session was led by Diego Mallada, IT Digital Tech CTO at Gestamp, with the presentation ‘The power of data in industry: from machine to business value.’ Throughout his presentation, we delved into how data has become the most valuable asset for industrial companies, driving the shift from automation to operational intelligence focused on efficiency, innovation and profitability.

We also facilitated a practical workshop that encouraged the exchange of applied experiences among attendees, focusing on how to transform operational information into tangible business value.

We closed the day with a lunch and a networking session that strengthened the connections between professionals who shared the vision of promoting competitiveness and collaboration in the industrial ecosystem, which is the purpose of our Industry Leaders meeting
