We partner with Privado ID to strengthen digital identity privacy

At Telefónica Tech, we firmly believe that user identity is a key area for the development of the new Internet. We are also mindful of the latest social trends and regulatory fronts.

That is why we have partnered with Privado ID to create an ecosystem where privacy and user control over their identity are at the heart of digital services. This allows us to integrate Privado ID's advanced identity management technology into TrustOS, our managed blockchain platform. This will bring it closer to businesses and facilitating its adoption.

Through this collaboration, we aim to enhance the privacy of self-sovereign digital identity (SSI) and respond to growing social demand and new regulations, such as the EU’s eIDAS2 regulation. This integration also enables us to incorporate Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), increasing information security and confidentiality on decentralized networks.

In this way, Telefónica Tech is advancing in the adoption of digital identity solutions for businesses, paving the way for the implementation of the future EU Digital Identity Wallet.
