Securing AI and Secured by AI: Telefónica Tech hosts client event on trusted AI

Last week, at the event Securing AI and Secured by AI: A Two-Way Street, we brought together leaders from Google Cloud, AESIA, and Telefónica Tech to share a joint vision on the secure and responsible adoption of artificial intelligence.

The session began with a welcome from María Jesús Almazor, COO Spain and Americas at Telefónica Tech, who highlighted the role of AI in the evolution of business.

Next, Emiliano Martínez, Lead Product Manager at Google Threat Intelligence, gave a keynote speech on the technology behind artificial intelligence, and Ignasi Belda, Director General of AESIA, participated alongside José Luis Domínguez, Sales Director at Telefónica Tech, in a session dedicated to the responsible use of AI.

The panel moderated by Juan Campillo, Cyber Security Product Marketing Director at Telefónica Tech, featured Carlos Martínez, AI & Data Solutions and Services Director, Javier Magdalena, Director of Automation and CRM at Telefónica Spain, and Eugenio Franco, Head of Google Cloud Security, analyzing the challenges of adopting AI to transform business.

Elena Zapatero and David Prieto explained how to secure the path to AI from a cybersecurity perspective, before giving way to live demos from Telefónica Tech and Google Cloud.

The day ended with a cocktail party on the rooftop of the Hotel RIU Plaza España, closing this exclusive event with the best views of Madrid.
