Smart Steps platform to improve mobility during Xàtiva’s Fira d’Agost

We’ve deployed our ‘Smart Steps’ mobility analytics platform in Xàtiva to monitor crowd flows during the Fira d’Agost, one of the city’s most important annual events. Thanks to this collaboration, the City Council will have access to anonymised, accurate and detailed data on the behaviour of visitors and tourists. This will enable better resource management, enhanced public safety and more effective planning for future editions.

‘Smart Steps’ is powered by Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, and analyses anonymised and aggregated mobile signals without requiring any additional infrastructure. It also allows the integration of local data sources to enrich the analysis.

The platform offers key insights such as visitor volume, sociodemographic profiles, place of origin and length of stay. These indicators support public administrations in making data-driven decisions and improving the experience for both locals and tourists.

This same technology has already proven effective at major events such as the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and Taylor Swift’s concerts in Madrid, helping to optimise urban mobility and reduce congestion.

With this project, we continue to show how our technology contributes to urban quality of life and the efficient management of large-scale events.
