We help the Spanish Olympic Committee turn data into knowledge for Olympic sport

At Telefónica, we work with the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) as the technology partner for the Spanish Olympic Committee Insights (SOCI) project, an initiative aimed at advancing the digitalisation of sport and making better use of data across its ecosystem.

As part of the project, we will help the COE create a secure, interoperable data space to bring together and make better use of the information available, helping turn data into useful knowledge for sports management and decision-making.

Our involvement will help lay the foundations for a model that enables the COE to use both its own data and data shared by other participants in the ecosystem securely and in a coordinated way.

In this way, we are supporting the COE as it moves towards more advanced, data-driven management of Olympic sport, while laying the groundwork for new initiatives as the project evolves.
