We participated as sponsors in two strategic events in Peru last week, reinforcing our commitment to the development of a more secure, inclusive, and resilient digital environment in the region.
Being present in these spaces not only allowed us to share our experience, but also to connect with public and private sector leaders to exchange ideas on the challenges and opportunities posed by digital transformation in key areas such as microfinance and defense.
Seminario Internacional de Microfinanzas 2025 (FEPMAC):
We were present at this important meeting held in Huancayo from April 23 to 25, together with the main entities of the Peruvian financial system.
As part of the roadshow “Solutions and trends in Microfinance”, Carlos Córdova, Cyber Security Product Manager, shared his vision on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the digital transformation of the sector, and the challenges that this implies in terms of cyber security.
During his speech, he addressed key aspects such as identity management, protection of critical assets, control of digital channels and the need to promote a culture of awareness throughout the organization to move towards true cyber resilience.
Salón Internacional de Tecnología para la Defensa y Prevención de Desastres (SITDEF PERÚ 2025):
We were also part of this international event in Lima, from April 24 to 27 which brought together defense and digital security experts from across the region.
Jorge Caballero, Intelligence and Incident Response Specialist at Telefónica Tech Peru, participated with the presentation “Threat Intelligence with AI: Anticipating the Cybercrime of the Future”, where he delivered a presentation on how Artificial Intelligence and automation capabilities are transforming the way in which organizations face increasingly sophisticated threats.
We also had a space in the exhibition area, where we unveiled our global cyber security capabilities and the operating model of our Digital Operations Center (DOC), designed to strengthen defense against complex and emerging risks.
We would like to thank everyone who came, shared ideas and contributed to continue building a common vision for the future of cyber security. We will continue to promote spaces for collaboration and knowledge to face together the challenges of the digital environment in Peru. ”
