We drive a technological leap in water management with AI and Google Cloud

We have strengthened our collaboration with Global Omnium and Google Cloud to enable a technological transformation in the water sector through artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. This partnership aims to enhance integrated water cycle management, boost operational efficiency, and provide a more user-friendly service.

Our role is to deliver Google Cloud's public cloud solution to Global Omnium, enabling the migration of workloads with full guarantees of scalability, security, and flexibility. This step supports their digital transformation strategy and lays the foundation for more predictive and sustainable management.

The first result of this collaboration is an innovative marine monitoring system already in use, which leverages AI to assess the condition of seagrass meadows, detect potential threats, and guide conservation efforts. This solution has already helped protect a high-value coastal area in the Mediterranean.

This new agreement builds on a relationship that began in 2021, when we deployed NB-IoT connectivity across 450,000 water meters. We remain committed to driving digital transformation in the water sector by applying technologies that enhance sustainability, efficiency, and resilience.
