We enhance the cybersecurity of BBVA's operations on a global scale

BBVA signs a strategic agreement with Telefónica Tech to enhance the cybersecurity of the bank's operations on a global scale by incorporating the most advanced technologies in artificial intelligence and process automation for the prevention of cyber threats.

The combination of BBVA's existing Global Cybersecurity Center in Spain, along with the new specialized center we have created in Mexico, will offer comprehensive and uninterrupted coverage to the entire Group.

We consolidate our position as a key strategic partner for BBVA, providing nearly fifty cybersecurity services. These services range from proactive threat anticipation, definition of operational tactics, to the protection of Data Processing Centers (CPDs). The collaboration will enable BBVA to improve its resilience against potential cyberattacks and strengthen its technological infrastructure globally.

This alliance not only reinforces our position as a leader in cybersecurity solutions but also supports BBVA's digital transformation in the more than 25 countries where it operates. With the support of Telefónica Tech, BBVA will continue to adopt the most advanced technologies to protect its customers and enhance their financial well-being.
