We inaugurated the Talent and Technology Center in Vigo to protect SMEs and large companies

María Jesús Almazor, COO of Telefónica Tech for Spain and America, and Emilio Gayo, Telefónica Spain president, have inaugurated the Talent and Technology Center in Vigo, dedicated to the development of Cyber Security operations and services for our clients.

The newly opened center is intended to become a benchmark in cybersecurity services, with a hundred professionals from Telefónica Tech and Telefónica Spain. One-quarter of these professionals are recent graduates to whom we provide the training to certify them in the most advanced third-party technologies.

The Vigo center will contribute to the services we provide from our Digital Operations Center (DOC) of Telefónica Tech, which operates 24/7 from Madrid and Bogotá, to protect SMEs and large companies with advanced Cyber Security services.

As part of our commitment to offering our clients the best talent and the most advanced technologies, at Telefónica Tech we will collaborate with Galician universities to identify and train young people with a technological profile.
