At Telefónica we have been recognised as a Leader for the twelfth consecutive time in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Managed IoT Connectivity Services Worldwide. This recognition reinforces our role in helping businesses and public administrations access digital technologies in a more efficient, secure and sustainable way.
Throughout 2025, we continued to expand our managed IoT connectivity services portfolio with technologies such as 5G and NB-IoT, known for their low data consumption and strong signal penetration and coverage. We also extended the reach of our services through satellite connectivity, enabling IoT deployments even in remote or hard-to-reach locations.
Our Kite platform is key to enabling organisations to securely and centrally monitor and manage their assets in real time from anywhere in the world. The platform provides full visibility and control over all SIMs and supports the management of millions of connected devices at global scale.
Kite also incorporates advanced Artificial Intelligence capabilities, including a natural language assistant, behavioural segmentation models and the automated resolution of operational tickets. In addition, it acts as a connectivity orchestrator through eSIM functionalities under the SGP.32 standard, enabling organisations to switch providers more flexibly and deploy IoT solutions across multiple regions.
Through these services, we support the digital transformation of strategic sectors including energy, utilities, automotive and mobility, retail, industry, agriculture, healthcare and smart cities. In industry, we combine managed IoT services, private 5G networks and Edge Computing to support critical use cases with enhanced connectivity, processing and management capabilities.
