We reorganise our operations in Brazil to strengthen our global strategy

We have reorganised our operations in Brazil by integrating our cybersecurity division into Vivo’s structure (Telefónica Brasil), with the aim of strengthening its value proposition in the B2B segment. The operation was carried out through Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad (TIS).

This strategic decision allows us to leverage synergies within the Telefónica Group, simplifying the operating model in the country and accelerating the delivery of cybersecurity solutions for businesses. The capabilities transferred include advanced protection services for devices, networks and cloud environments, as well as specialised consulting, identity management, incident response, vulnerability management, and technology integration.

With this move we take another step forward in our strategy of focus and efficiency, reorganising our operations in a market where the Telefónica Group already operates directly and in a consolidated manner through Vivo. This decision is fully aligned with the commitments we made during our Capital Markets Day, focused on enhancing our global capabilities, prioritising strategic investments and generating long-term sustainable value.
