It offers comprehensive, multi-platform protection that can be adapted to any architecture, ensuring continuity and high levels of service in the face of digital vulnerabilities and threats.

Our service

Telefónica Tech's DDoS Protection service offers managed protection against attacks targeting customer links. In collaboration with Telefónica de España S.A.U. as an ISP, it requires no equipment or traffic redirection. Traffic is monitored and mitigated before it reaches the customer's network, both in national and international transit. In addition, it can also be integrated with local equipment for always-on anomaly detection and combined protection. A global solution is deployed for international networks, protecting all nodes.

What does it allow?

This service protects the customer's network assets from DDoS activity in two phases:
Detection: continuous monitoring of links from the network, generating usage statistics and detecting volumetric attacks. It includes local always-on detection that analyses all traffic in real time.
Mitigation: attacked traffic is redirected to mitigation farms that separate legitimate and malicious traffic. Local equipment reinforces defence against specific and application layer attacks. All managed it by Telefónica Tech experts.

Telefónica's DDoS Protection solution offers continuous monitoring and 24/7 support, with operators analysing alerts and applying mitigation measures if an attack is confirmed.

Non-intrusive solution

Activating the links dedicated to the customer does not imply any modifications to their equipment.

Possibility of adding local protection integrated with the network solution against DDoS attacks

In addition to Telefónica's AntiDDoS service, an always-on on-premises solution is offered that allows customers to quickly and effectively detect and mitigate sophisticated attacks locally, even in encrypted traffic.

Traffic is not inspected

Telefónica's DDoS Protection solution analyses statistical information from the network (netflow), guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of communications.

The Operator is able to provide a more effective response.

Volumetric attacks can saturate the customer's network. Having Telefónica as your ISP makes ADDoS protection more effective, without redirecting traffic and delivering clean traffic through the same link without latency.

Effective automation

The solution allows you to customise the protection of critical assets, initiating immediate mitigation against attacks and anticipating potential service degradation.

OUR DIFFERENTIAL VALUE

Our solution filters DDoS traffic, allowing only legitimate traffic to pass through transparently for the customer, without added latency, unlike other solutions that block everything.
The operator is able to provide a more effective response. Telefónica has the collaboration of Telefónica de España S.A.U., which, in its capacity as an ISP, enables this service to be provided more effectively.
Short provisioning time. The infrastructure is already in place; all that is required is to register the customer's IP addresses and integrate them into the operator's network.
