We deployed an On-Premise 5G SA Private Network to position the AIC ecosystem as a benchmark environment for validating key technologies for new mobility: connected and automated vehicles, V2X communications, industrial digitalisation, advanced robotics, real-time traceability and predictive maintenance. This infrastructure acts as a strategic enabler for OEMs, Tier 1s, technology providers and start-ups to accelerate the development of solutions in a real and controlled environment. Outdoor and indoor coverage with dedicated radio resources allows tests to be run in conditions close to real operation: automated driving with service continuity, seamless handover, V2I communication, AGV/AMR fleet coordination and remote control of critical processes, ensuring low latency and high availability. The architecture incorporates a dedicated and redundant Core and RAN Sharing, ensuring security and traffic isolation.

5G connectivity to validate industrial and connected mobility use cases

We created a 5G environment designed to evaluate real AIC use cases, from automation and mobility to quality and maintenance. The architecture with outdoor and indoor radio coverage and the reliability of the private Core allow companies to experiment with critical technologies in a controlled environment prepared for Industry 4.0 and new mobility models.
