We have partnered with Siemens to enhance digitalization and industrial automation in Spain by integrating our 5G network infrastructure and digital technologies, such as IoT, Digital Twin, and Artificial Intelligence, together with Siemens' innovative industrial technologies.
As part of this alliance, our professionals from Telefónica Tech and Geprom, part of Telefónica Tech, will conduct certification and training courses in Siemens' automation and digitalization areas, using SCADA architectures with Siemens' WinCC OA system and production management systems MES/MOM through the Opcenter platform.
The objective is to optimize the integration between industrial networks of factories (OT) and business environments (IT), enabling efficient operation and the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence and data management.
This agreement is framed within the celebration of the VII National Industry Congress, held on January 15 and 16 in Barcelona, where both companies will showcase real-time applications of these technologies in the automotive sector.
This alliance with Siemens certifies our common commitment to the digital transformation of the Spanish industry, offering digitized environments so that our clients can experience and adopt these innovations.
