BBVA's Data & AI University aims to improve and/or requalify skills around data and Artificial Intelligence. We have trained more than 5,000 employees in 6 countries who are already applying the new skills they have acquired in their day-to-day work. From the design of customized training plans to homogeneous delivery in all geographies, the project has evolved with the customer's technology and market innovations.

Training programs designed ad hoc with the customer

The key to success lies in the personalization of the contents, so that they manage to be close to the reality of the student in their workplace. The itineraries are designed for different groups within the bank with a strong practical component, face-to-face and immersive sessions, and always in small groups. The result is high effectiveness in the assimilation of knowledge and excellent employee satisfaction.

Unified methodology for deployment in 6 geographical locations

The key to achieving lasting effectiveness and satisfaction has been the deployment of a single, global methodology for all programs and geographies, coordinated from the customer's central services and deployed locally with agreed standards. We have also implemented a student selection methodology, in which, based on minimum and maximum standards, an employee's suitability to be a student on a specific course is evaluated (or he/she is referring to other programs or support content).

Different programs for a variety of groups

The programs are designed for different employee profiles, focusing on developing new skills to use existing tools and technologies. They include practical exercises simulating real scenarios, enabling direct application at work: data preparation and quality, dashboard creation to support decision-making, data governance for business roles, and AI and generative AI use for technical staff.

Measurement and continuous improvement

We carry out an exhaustive follow-up of each student and monitor everything that happens in detail, which allows us to have a clear picture of the project as a whole, but also the detailed vision that allows us to go shelling by geography, program, edition... from a single control panel. This allows us precise decision making that translates into improvements and changes that help the smooth running of the project.
