We have helped Bodegas Borsao through our company Geprom to technologically evolve its intralogistics management and design a fully digitalised winery. We have carried out a digital transformation consultancy and designed an implementation plan for two industrial digitalisation systems connected to the ERP: the SGA tool, aimed at boosting the management of its raw materials and finished product warehouse, and the MES system to optimise production. Workflow automation and system integration have allowed him to simplify his processes, save time and facilitate daily tasks. In addition, it has enabled a global vision of its production processes, which facilitates decision-making. Thanks to all this, Bodegas Borsao has been able to increase the control of its operations to focus on the quality of its product.

Highlights of the success story

Optimisation of its warehouse

Thanks to technological inventory management, end-to-end product traceability, real time stock control and quality level monitoring throughout the process.

More than 10% increase in productivity

Reducing downtime and optimising the production chain by digitalising logistics and production processes.

An advanced level of technological maturity for the winery

That will enable it to integrate, in the medium term, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence to improve its business, which will mean higher levels of transparency, traceability and efficiency in its operations.

Control over the entire production life cycle

Through process monitoring, tracking and documentation, which has led to improved production order management and control of both line performance and line status, as well as more effective planning and data-driven decision making

A digitalisation proposal taking into account industry standards (ISA-95)

To work according to industry best practice in an optimal and robust IT and operational way.

What others say about us

“Measuring, controlling, and reducing the costs of bottling and storage processes is our challenge in an environment of maximum competitiveness among companies in the wine sector and falling consumption in all markets. Decisions regarding both processes, together with those related to quality, must be precise in order to offer the best service and thus differentiate us from our competitors.”
