Building on its long-standing partnership with BE-terna, VAUDE has been running its operations on BE-terna Fashion, the industry solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. To further reduce manual effort in internal sales, particularly in processing incoming order emails, a focused pilot project was launched to automate these repetitive, time-consuming tasks using an AI agent.

Within 12 weeks, the solution was designed, developed, and implemented. The agent analyzes incoming emails, extracts relevant order data, and prepares orders and backorder lists directly in the system. A human-in-the-loop approach ensures transparency and control, as employees review and approve the agent’s proposals before execution.

The result is a significant reduction in manual workload, faster processing of customer requests, and more time for internal sales teams to focus on customer interaction and value-adding activities.
