Valencia Marina is a cutting-edge urban marina in the Mediterranean arc that is making great strides towards becoming a port 4.0. To take its digital transformation a step further, our client has carried out a pilot based on the use of our IDoT technology, which brings together technologies related to cybersecurity, cloud computing, certification and 5G connectivity. The system also uses CapaciCard to facilitate identification of both users and devices, and includes a blockchain layer to ensure data immutability.

Highlights of the success story

Improving end-user service

Thanks to the metrics and consumption analysis offered by smart poles.

Contribution to the environment

New platform to manage the water and electricity supply, ensuring greater efficiency and use of these resources.

Better user experience

The poles allow the user to link their smartphone to the supply point, so that they can monitor and manage their boat's consumption via an app.

Water and carbon footprint reduction

By detecting water leaks and anomalies.

Creation of a Living Lab

An open space that will allow companies and startups to propose improvements and efficiencies based on the data published in blockchain for the transparency of the Smart Port environment dynamics.

What others say about us

"Sustainability is a key element of the Valencia Marina project. In this type of seaside bays, freshwater leaks are a common occurrence. Thanks to digitalisation of recharging points, we were able to solve this problem, in favour of optimisation and efficient use of such a basic and scarce natural resource as water".
