Atosa, a multinational company dedicated to the distribution of toys, costumes, and accessories, wanted to carry out a technological transformation of its order dispatch system. For this purpose, we have carried out, through our company Geprom, a technological consultancy and we have implemented a PTL (Put to Light) system to optimise the tasks of picking, location and preparation of orders by means of colour coding. The implementation of the PTL system, integrated with the warehouse management (WMS) and production (MES) tools, together with the use of ProGlove's industrial smart gloves, has significantly improved the company's efficiency and competitiveness.

Highlights of the success story

Increased efficiency in order dispatching

Thanks to the gloves, which replace traditional picking guns, Atosa has achieved accurate barcode reading, increased productivity in order picking and greater ergonomics and comfort for employees.

Inventory optimisation and order placement

The industrial smart gloves are designed to allow operators to scan the barcodes on the goods and place them according to the colour and location indicated by the PTL. Once each box has been filled with the units that make up the order, a white sensor on the PTL is activated, indicating to the operator that the packaging can be completed.

Error reduction

Thanks to PTL technology and smart gloves, the customer has experienced a significant reduction in errors during the order picking process. Accurate barcode scanning and colour-coded product placement has prevented errors and improved shipment quality.

Increasing product control and quality

The PTL system and smart gloves enable greater control over the dispatch of orders. Activation of the white sensor on the PTL indicates completion of packing, allowing operators to direct shipments to the goods handling system for dispatch.

What others say about us

“The PTL system has improved many aspects, such as the rise in production capacity and precision, reducing space used by the handling machinery or energy savings. The Proglove gloves improved productivity in product sorting tasks and ergonomics. All of this really improved the handling processes of customer order preparation. The project was done in close collaboration and tailored to the needs”.
